Comprehensive construction project management as Project Management in collaboration with an expanding residential brand

AKKO Building adds a new project to its track record in the Principality of Andorra with the comprehensive management of construction projects for two residential buildings in Encamp, reaffirming its expertise in the high-quality building sector. This development, with a budget of €13,100,000 and an estimated duration of 28 months, is part of a strategic collaboration with A:B:C, the residential brand of the OD Group, which, after successfully consolidating in Ibiza and Salou, is now driving its growth in Andorra.

Site planning and urban integration

The development occupies a 3,702.88 m² plot located in the Pedral area of Encamp, bordered to the north by Xalet Vall d’Encamp, to the south by Balcó del Solà street, to the east by a communal road, and to the west by El Pedral urbanisation. The architectural concept respects the surrounding environment and urban landscape, ensuring seamless integration into its natural and built context.

Project structure: two residential blocks with 58 homes

The development consists of two newly built residential buildings with a single vehicular access:

• Block A includes an underground parking level, ground floor, and three upper floors, housing a total of 22 apartments.
• Block B includes an underground parking level, ground floor, and five upper floors, housing a total of 36 apartments.

The structure is composed of reinforced concrete slabs supported by concrete walls and columns. The foundations use reinforced concrete slabs, and retaining walls for the underground level are also built in reinforced concrete.

High construction standards and quality finishes

The buildings will feature pitched roofs with natural slate finishes and anti-snow hook lines. Facades will be ventilated and finished in porcelain cladding resembling natural stone, combined with phenolic panels imitating wood.

Exterior carpentry will be aluminium with thermal break technology, and interior carpentry will consist of wood doors and frame claddings.

Interior finishes include plastic paint on walls and full-height porcelain tiling in bathrooms. Floors will be finished in porcelain tiles over an integrated radiant cooling/heating floor system.
